Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS): Professional Learning: What Can We Learn From International Data & Practice?

On June 25, 2015 at the National Press Club, the National Commission on Teaching & America’s Future (NCTAF) and the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) facilitated a discussion on how countries across the world develop and support their educators. Building on NCTAF & OECD’s June 27, 2014 US Release of the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS), the June 25, 2015 forum on professional learning explored successful strategies and systems as well as opportunities and potential barriers to implementation in the U.S.
