Sophie Huntington, Director of Teachers Learning in Networked Communities (TLINC®), oversees the implementation of the project in collaboration with university and district partners. Prior to joining NCTAF, Sophie was Director of Program Quality at Higher Achievement, a year-round out-of-school-time organization. In this role she oversaw curriculum development, instructional training, and program innovation. She has served as Educational Outreach Coordinator for the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies at Cornell University, K-12 Curriculum Coordinator for the Southeast Asia Program at Cornell, and was a social studies teacher at McKinleyville High School in California. Sophie holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a graduate teaching certification in social studies from Humboldt State University.
