Mission & Strategy

The National Commission on Teaching and America's Future (NCTAF) challenges the nation to provide every child in America with 21st century teaching. To achieve this goal, we recommend Four strategies:

	Create strong learning communities in schools;
	Close the gap between teacher preparation and practice.
	Support professionally rewarding teaching careers.
	Develop authentic teaching standards and learning assessments.
