Pearson’s Center for Educator Effectiveness Partners with NCTAF on Learning Studios

In a recent blog post Kathy McKnight, Principal Director of Research at Pearson’s Center for Educator Effectiveness, announced a partnership between NCTAF and Pearson’s non-profit K12 Research & Innovation Network.  The partnership between the two organizations will  focus on the impacts of Learning Studios, an innovative program that fosters collaborative partnerships between classroom teachers and local STEM professionals. Pearson’s study will examine the how Learning Studios’ collaborative partnerships impact both teacher practice and student learning, as well as STEM professionals’ practice and the specific conditions that are necessary for making these kinds of partnerships effective.
